TRASH PICK-UP & RECYCLING

Sarasota County offers trash services through a third-party contract. The pick-up schedules are as follows:

• Trash Pick-Up: Friday morning

• Recyclables: Friday morning

• Bulk Pick-Up: To schedule a pick-up, please call 941-493-4100

 

Kindly note that trash, recyclables, and bulk pick-up items should not be placed at the curbside for collection any earlier than the evening before the scheduled pick-up. Furthermore, all cans, containers, or remains should be promptly brought indoors within four (4) hours after pick-up.

Additionally, it's essential to be aware that yard waste, such as tree branches or palm fronds, will be collected but subject to specific requirements regarding their placement at the curb. We recommend reaching out to Waste Management, the trash removal contractor, to inquire about the proper procedures for presenting the items you wish to have picked up.
